Endless Summer Winery

Endless Summer Winery is a small, family-owned winery with very unique wines, such as their signature Pecan wine (with raisins for added body), which has nutty, smooth, buttery notes. Their extensive garden landscaping enhances the scenic view, providing a perfect setting to sit and sip.

OakGlenn Vineyards & Winery

OakGlenn Vineyards & Winery is situated high on the bluffs overlooking the Missouri River. One of the first things you’ll notice is the breathtaking view of the river valley. Many of our Hermann Hill guests like to listen to the Live entertainment featured on their outdoor patio or stage most Saturday and Sunday evenings in April through November.

Stone Hill Winery

Perched prominently on one of the largest hills, with a commanding view of the town of Hermann is Stone Hill Winery. Established in 1847, Stone Hill grew to be the second largest winery in the United States. The wines were world renowned, winning gold medals in eight world’s fairs, including Vienna in 1873 and Philadelphia in 1876. Today, Stone Hill is Missouri’s oldest and most awarded winery. Adam Puchta Winery

Adam Puchta Winery located just outside of Hermann in the middle of a scenic valley is the oldest family winery in the Country. Hermann Hill guests can enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful countryside while partaking of award winning wines. Browse their gift shop or learn and sample their wide variety of wines. Or try two of Hermann Hill’s staff favorites Hunters Red or Adam’s Choice.

Tin Mill Brewing Company Hermannhof

Located in a landmark 100 year old tin mill in historic downtown Hermann, Tin Mill Brewing Company is the only true lager microbrewery in the state of Missouri and one of the few German style microbreweries in the country. Their beers are all brewed in accordance with the German Purity Law of 1516, also known as Reinheitsgebot (pronounced: rye hots gee bot). You will often find many Hermann Hill guests at the Lager House enjoying one of their fine beers. You’ll find the celebration and atmosphere of a true German Pub right down to our authentic Isar Tankards from Munich.

Outdoor Recreation

3 Mile Walk

Guests of Hermann Hill love the 3-mile walk that begins and ends right here at the property. Take your time to enjoy the sites along the way as you stroll through streets and alleys, past historic venues, museums and restaurants. You’ll be rewarded with a free t-shirt upon your return!

The Katy Trail

The Katy Trail is one of the longest railroads to be converted into a walking path. You can either walk or bike the trail. In fact, if you bring your bikes, we’ll even help transport you to and from the trail (advance notice needed) at the McKittrick trailhead.

Christopher S. Bond Bridge

This Missouri River Bridge features an 8-foot wide pedestrian section for biking or walking. The bridge is a great way for guests to access the Katy Trail Bike path to McKittrick.

Loutre Shores Country Club

Loutre Shores Country Club is located a short 1.5 miles north of Hermann, MO at the edge of the beautiful Rhine Valley in the heart of Missouri’s Wine Country. The Valley’s rolling hills provide a beautiful backdrop for one of the most challenging nine-hole courses you’ll find anywhere. The course features lush, zoysia-covered fairways and tees, beautiful greens, and a scenic lake that adds to the challenge.

Hermann History

Deutschheim State Historic Site

Visit a significant part of German-American history and early Missouri settlement at Deutschheim State Historic Site. Stroll through the restored 1840s and 1850s buildings and learn how German-Americans settled the area, developing the basis for a Missouri wine industry along the way. You can still see grapevines that were planted more than 100 years ago on the property as well as a number of historic artifacts. Many Hermann Hill guests enjoy their gift shop where you can purchase everything from books to German cookie molds.

German School Buildings

Located in the 1871 German School Building, the Historic Hermann Museum is home to an extraordinary collection of treasures from Hermann’s past and is a must see on your next stay at Hermann Hill. Tours of the German School are self-guided, but volunteers are on hand to answer questions. Several who attended the German School enjoy sharing stories about their school days with visitors.
